Where to Go When You Don’t Know What to Do – Psalm 119:105 Scripture Memory Song

Look to God and his Word for guidance.

If you’re new here, each week we all learn about and memorize a Bible verse together. We’ve put the verse(s) into song to help you learn the verse and recall it during your day. If you’d like to see the archives of all the verses we’ve done so far, you can find our posts here and a list of all the YouTube videos here. On to this week’s verse!

Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105 (ESV)

Devotional

God has given us his Word for many reasons. One of those reasons is to guide us, show us the way he would have us go. If we truly have faith in God, we’ll trust the Word he’s given us for guidance, rather than seeking guidance through signs or even asking God to speak directly to us (not that we shouldn’t desire such things).

God Word lights the way. Follow it. Psalm 119:105 Click To Tweet

If you feel lost regarding the path you should take, you should certainly get on your knees and pray, for this is a very good thing. But don’t disregard the Word he’s already given to us. Seek his wisdom in the one place you can be guaranteed to find it: the Bible.
